We are horrified by the murders of our fellow citizens—George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery—and many others who are part of a long line of unjustified deaths.
We believe Black Lives Matter.
A bright light is being shined on the structural racism and inequity in our country. We should no longer accept that Black Americans have higher rates of chronic diseases, infant mortality, poverty, homelessness, and dramatically higher rates of incarceration. The time for action is long overdue.
We promise to work harder than ever to uncover social factors that impact our fellow citizens. We also encourage our team members to advocate for meaningful change through supporting and donating to important social justice causes, attending demonstrations, and having tough conversations with their family and friends.
We will continue to listen, learn, and grow. We are determined to be part of the solution.
